Deliverable 3 Submission (30% as 15% group and 15% individual)

Deadline Deliverable 3a : 4pm Friday 20 October 2023 (week 12)

Deadline Deliverable 3b and 3c: 4pm Friday 27 October (week 13)

Submit Deliverable 3a (submit 1 document per team), Deliverable 3b (see link below) Deliverable 3c (submit 1 videos per team member) in cssubmit. Make sure you choose the correct submission area for each part. Your Final Project submission (3a) should be a single pdf document. No zip, rar, word or other formats please. This submission should include links to additional material in your GitHub repository and any other project sites as required.

A capstone subject [should] assess the quality of artefacts and the quality of the methods of their creation, so demonstrating achievement of both technical outcomes and of professional skills such as project management, leadership and teamwork. [ACS accreditation criteria] Deliverable 3 focusses on these quality aspects.

Deliverable 3a: Final Project (submit 1 per team)

Deliverable 3a (15% group) should demonstrate

  1. The working system as deployed software product; Source code hosted on a shared GitHub (or other) repository;
  2. User manual, test suites and any other documentation for the system;
  3. Deployed system (can be on a temporary site, but the client and the marker should be able to run the system). The group should have performed a formal hand over of the system and its GitHub repository to the client.
Client Review (will be requested by the unit coordinator)
The project client will be asked (by the unit coordinator, after the submission deadline) to complete a short survey on the project. Client feedback will contribute to your mark for Deliverable 3a. Before you submit Deliverable 3a you should ensure that the team has met with your client to demonstrate and hand over your project code and for approval of project documents.

Submission Each group should submit one Deliverable 3a document to cssubmit. Submit a single PDF document (no other formats please) with your group number and the student number of the person submitting for the group included in the file name, e.g., Deliverable3a-group7-22233301.pdf. Use hyperlinks in the pdf to reference project material in your GitHub, Trello and ms-teams sites. The student number in the file title will be used for returning feedback to the group. Also ensure that the names and student numbers of all group members are included in the document itself. Students are responsible for contacting the unit coordinator as soon as possible if there are concerns about group dynamics or contributions.

Deliverable 3b P1/P2: Professionalism Assessment (10% individual)

Deliverable 3c: Project Pitch (5% individual)

Each individual will create a video presentation (screen capture or talking to camera) of the project. The project video will be no more than 2 minutes long. The video will motivate the project, demonstrate the software and discuss what future plans could be. The project video should be pitched for the project client and other stakeholders. Each team member can discuss the whole project in their video. There is no need to break this up into different functions.
